Newark Watershed Conservation And Development Corporation (NWCDC) Through its Fall Hunting Program offers small game, migratory bird, and deer hunting opportunities on the Newark-Pequannock Watershed. Newark Watershed Hunting Season, while similar to the State Hunting Season, does differ in some instances and usually is more restrictive. The Neawrk Watershed Resource is a prime area for small game and big game hunting. A large percentage of the area is preserved for hunting during appropriate seasons.
